Sirius Radio has rights to a number of major college sports conferences, including the Big Ten and the Southeastern Conference as well as schools like Notre Dame. A number of home and mobile audio manufacturers have begun to offer HD-Radio capable receivers. Despite crystal clear sound, crackle free delivery and nationwide coverage, American radio listeners have not been quick to take up many Satellite Radio offerings. Galaxie and MaxTrax are licensed satellite-delivered music streams distributed by direct broadcast satellite and digital cable services, requiring satellite dishes or coaxial cable lines not required by the XM or Sirius systems. If your brand-name stereo isn't compatible with satellite radio, or if you have a factory stereo system, you can still use a dedicated car satellite radio.
